LaVar Ball has made no secret of the fact that he wants his son, UCLA basketball star Lonzo Ball, to stay at home and become a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Many believe Ball will be selected by Los Angeles with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft this week, but there is no guarantee as other rumors link multiple top prospects to the team.
But despite the uncertainty ahead of Thursday night, LaVar believes there is no question where his son will land.
While catching up with TMZ Sports, LaVar showed the utmost confidence that he knows exactly what will happen when the Lakers are on the clock.
“Everybody knows [Lonzo] going to be a Laker,” he said.
Lonzo Ball only worked out and interviewed with the Lakers ahead of the draft, so the Ball family better hope their plan comes to fruition or there is no telling where Lonzo will begin his NBA career.
