Skip Bayless has never been shy on speaking his mind.
On Tuesday, he issued perhaps the most ringing endorsement of Colin Kaepernick’s heavily publicized protest to date.
Speaking with Shannon Sharpe on their program “Undisputed,” Bayless not only said that Kaepernick was justified in his decision to protest, but that those who are most upset know it too.
The debate marks one of the few times the two hosts agree with each other, and public opinion.
As it stands, Kaepernick remains unsigned by any team in the NFL. Difficult as it is to believe, a quarterback with playoff experience as a starter, the speed of a gazelle, and the ability to make any throw remains on the open market. He might not be the anyone’s first option to run their offense, but he is easily one of the 64 best quarterbacks in the league and a viable backup.
Recently, the Baltimore Ravens have emerged as a potential landing spot for the blacklisted quarterback. Players have been outspoken in their support of Kaepernick, and it appears he’d be welcomed into the locker room with open arms.
