Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield is your Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award National Player of the Week for Week 2 following his impressive performance that led the Sooners over the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The victory over Ohio State catapulted the Sooners from No. 5 to No.2 in the latest AP Top 25 Poll.
Mayfield completed 27 of 35 pass attempts for 386 yards and three touchdowns. It was a career high for Mayfield against a ranked opponent.
Oklahoma and Mayfield will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 16 against the Tulane Green Wave at OU Memorial Stadium in Norman. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. ET.
