Auburn President Denies Report He's Looking To Fire AD Jay Jacobs

Auburn president Steven Leath is denying a report that the university is working on a plan to fire athletic director Jay Jacobs amid the NCAA bribery scandal which led to associate head basketball coach Chuck Person being fired.
Leath addressed the rumors on Saturday.
“The report is inaccurate,” Leath said, via Auburn Undercover. “Jay Jacobs is the athletics director, and I have had no such conference call with the Board of Trustees.”
Earlier this week, Louisville head coach Rick Pitino and athletic director Tom Jurich were placed on unpaid administrative leave after Pitino was named in the FBI report for allegedly having a role in sending $100,000 to five-star recruit Brian Bowen in order for him to commit to the Cardinals.
The story continues to develops and it remains unseen just how far spread the scandal could be.
