The Pitt gymnasts team may be the toughest in the nation.
We all know that you need tremendous athleticism and strength to compete in gymnastics, especially at the Division I level, but you also need those same attributes to avoid being absolutely miserable during practice.
Anyone who has competed in athletics knows the pain of an ice bath.
But Pitt is taking things to a new level, with an inflatable ice tub sitting under the uneven bars. If the gymnastic going through their routine is unable to catch their release, they end up taking a plunge into theice.
It looks absolutely brutal.

The strategy seems to work, because the gymnasts in the video seemed to catch on quick. But when you the alternative to perfecting your craft is belly-flopping several feet into an ice bath, the motivation is all you need to learn how to hang on for your life.
