Another wild weekend of college football is in the books and the Associated Press released its latest AP Top 25 poll was released on Sunday afternoon ahead of Week 12.
It was a rough Saturday for teams who entered the weekend at the top of the poll, with two top three teams — Georgia and Notre Dame — suffering upsets to Auburn and Miami, respectively.
First place once again belongs to the Alabama Crimson Tide, while the Miami Hurricanes leapfrog to No. 2, picking up four first-place votes.
If the season were to end today, Alabama would face No. 4 Clemson and Miami would face No. 3 Oklahoma in the College Football Playoff. Undefeated Wisconsin sits at No. 5, while Auburn is on the outside looking in at No. 6.
That leaves plenty of spots open as the College Football Playoff picture heats up.
