Love is in the air in college football these days. We’ve already seen a proposal at Penn State by Chance Sorrell, and now Tre Jackson of Georgia Tech will be tying the knot.
Following an impressive showing against Virginia Tech, the Yellow Jackets linebacker asked his girlfriend Desiree to marry him. Bending a knee on the sideline, he showed her the ring and hoped for the best.
Tears started to flow from her eyes as she shook her head in agreement to the proposal.
Meanwhile, a team of Rambling Wreck footballers hooped, hollered and slapped their teammate on the back in congratulations.

The victory brought Georgia Tech one win within being bowl eligible.
The Yellow Jackets draw Duke next week, then close the season out against the Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia is going to be looking to restate their case for the College Football playoff and will be looking for blood; if Georgia Tech wants to lock up a bowl bid, next week against Duke is when they have to do it.
