Chip Kelly to Florida? Those are the rumors that have been buzzing since Jim McElwain was fired as Gators head coach, but they have been increasing in recent days.
Over the weekend, reports surfaced that Florida was beginning the process of vetting Kelly as a potential head coach.
Later, reports came that Kelly to the Gators may be a “done deal.”
Well, all of the chatter has forced university athletic director Scott Stricklin to make a comment on the matter.
Stricklin responded with a brief message on social media.
There is a lot of bad (i.e. incorrect) info out there, but this is a whole other level of bad info.

Stricklin did say that there is a lot of misinformation out there, but does it mean that Kelly isn’t being considered at Florida? I guess we will all just have to wait and see for now.
