Charles Barkley Makes A Strong Case To Appear On College GameDay Every Week

College GameDay does a good job of picking a guest that is both entertaining, and mostly knowledgeable. They’re allowed to whiff every now and then, like when Alex Rodriguez inexplicably represented the Miami football team, but for the most part, their guest pickers are great.
But they all move out of Charles Barkley’s way when they see him coming.
The Auburn alumni made his third appearance on the program this week, and he was as entertaining as ever.
From calling Florida vs. FSU “two ugly girls fighting,” to picking Washington State because he loves Mike Leach, Chuck was on his game.

Barkley was already scheduled to be in Alabama where he was being honored by his former university.
The Auburn basketball program unveiled a new statue in his likeness that depicts him rising up to slam the ball as he did so many times in his prime. Never mind the fact that the statue depicts a significantly thinner version of Barkley.
“I’m glad it’s the skinny version,” said Barkley after he saw the statue unveiled.

The Alabama Crimson Tide and the Auburn Tigers will kick off at 3:30 this afternoon. Chuck is calling for a War Eagle ass-kicking.
