Ronda Rousey officially made her long-awaited return to WWE on Sunday night at the Royal Rumble in Philadelphia.
Rousey is now under contract with WWE as a full-time performer, and her appearance to close out the show and point directly at the WrestleMania 34 sign hanging above the arena led to some immediate rumors swirling.
While it will be some time before an official plan for Rousey is revealed, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer is sharing the current buzz.
According to Meltzer, the current plan is for Rousey to be joined for a partner to take on Stephanie McMahon and Triple H in a tag team match at WrestleMania 34.

The current plan for Ronda Rousey’s WWE debut at WrestleMania looks to be a tag team match against Stephanie McMahon & Triple H.
There had been rumors all week regarding the match the company had tried to put together for WrestleMania 31 with Rousey & Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson against Stephanie & Triple H. It is unknown whether that match can be put together. Johnson hasn’t’ been able to wrestle a significant match due to insurance reasons regarding movies he has agreed to do that have kept him from wrestling at last few WrestleMania shows, aside from the few second match with Erick Rowan in 2016.
If the Rock is unable to join Rousey for a match, who should WWE turn to? Sound off in the comments section below with your thoughts and predictions for Rousey’s debut match.
WrestleMania 34 takes place April 8 at Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana.
