Tom Brady will be joining the rest of his New England Patriots teammates on Monday night for “Super Bowl Opening Night” to officially kickoff Super Bowl 52 week in Minneapolis.
But while Brady is obligated to speak to the media later today, he wasn’t feeling as chatty early in the morning.
During his weekly radio interview on WEEI’s “Kirk & Callahan,” Brady called out the station for comments made last week by host Alex Reimer.
Last Thursday, Reimer was discussing the “Tom vs. Time” documentary when he made disparaging comments about Brady’s daughter, Vivian, who made an appearance in the film. Reimer referred to Brady’s daughter as an “annoying little pissant” which didn’t sit well with the future Hall of Famer.
As a result, Brady cut his interview short and added he was unsure if he would appear on the station again.
“It was very disappointing to hear that, my daughter or any child certainly does not deserve that,” Brady said, via the “Kirk & Callahan” Twitter account.

If anyone from WEEI is on the scene in Minneapolis for Super Bowl Opening Night, it will be interesting to see if Brady addresses them. The station’s parent company currently has a deal with the Patriots that includes weekly interviews with Brady and head coach Bill Belichick.
The Patriots will be available to the media beginning at 8:10 p.m. ET on ESPN and the NFL Network.
