The 2018 NFL Draft takes place April 26-28 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas — home of the Dallas Cowboys. Currently, the Cleveland Browns hold the No. 1 overall pick, and with the NFL Scouting Combine in the books, the discussion over who the top selection will be has heated up.
We have seen plenty of mock drafts surfacing and they all seem to indicate it will be a quarterback who goes to Cleveland, but the latest betting odds from those in Las Vegas suggest otherwise.
According to the post-Combine odds released by the fine folks at Bovada.lv, Penn State Nittany Lions running back Saquon Barkley, who blew up the combine with an incredible on-field performance, is the most likely player to go with the top pick.
Of course, that could be because of the fact a number of quarterbacks are in the mix and no one is sure which signal-caller the Browns prefer.
But if Cleveland does go with a man under center, the current odds have USC’s Sam Darnold as the favorite.
The current betting odds for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft can be seen below:
- Saquon Barkley: 7/4
- Sam Darnold: 14/5
- Josh Allen: 7/2
- Baker Mayfield: 11/2
- Josh Rosen: 7/1
- Any Other Player: 14/1
