Last week, LiAngelo Ball officially declared for the 2018 NBA Draft as he attempts to become the second Big Baller in the league. But will LaVar Ball’s middle son be drafted? That is a question many have been asking.
One person who didn’t hesitate to say Ball would make it in the NBA was Shareef O’Neal, a power forward who is committed to UCLA and the son of former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal.
Shaq’s son spoke with TMZ Sports to share his thoughts on Ball’s chances in the NBA following an impressive 72-point performance for his Lithuanian pro team, Vytautas Prienu.
“I think he’s gonna make it on a team just ’cause his brother’s already there, and I feel like just the platform that that family has he can make it on a team,” O’Neal told TMZ Sports.

Gelo is the lowest rated prospect out of the family, with Lonzo being a No. 2 overall pick of the Los Angeles Lakers and LaMelo being a five-star recruit before withdrawing from high school to turn pro, so there is no guarantee he will stick around in the league. That said, it’s hard to believe he won’t earn a shot.
