LOOK: Baker Mayfield Recreates Iconic Brett Favre Photo

Baker Mayfield will be one of the first players off the board on Thursday night when the 2018 NFL Draft officially kicks off at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Mayfield is a projected top-three pick, with some believing he may be the first player to hear his name called. In anticipation of his big day, Mayfield showed his own NFL Draft history knowledge and paid homage to one of the best to ever play the game.

On NFL Draft Eve, Mayfield took to social media to show a perfectly recreated photo of a jean shorts-wearing Favre when he was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in 1991.

The recreation is incredible, with no detail spared by the Heisman Trophy winner.

Simply perfect.

Mayfield posted the photo on his personal Instagram page along with a quote from Favre.

“There are those people who are in your corner no matter what, you can’t do any wrong, even when you do wrong. And then there are those people that no matter what you do they are going to dislike you and that’s not going to change.”

The 2018 NFL Draft begins at 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN and the NFL Network.
