College Sports News

With the 2018 college football season just around the corner, it is watch list season and some of the top awards in the sport have begun trickling out their preseason watch lists. On Monday, the Butkus Award dropped its preseason watch list with 51 linebackers from 41 different schools being named to the list.

The 2018 Jim Thorpe Award dropped its preseason watch list with the college football season just around the corner. The watch list — which features 35 of the best defensive backs in the nation — was released on Monday, July 23 along with the Butkus Award preseason watch list.

Entertainment News

R. Kelly dropped a new track on Monday morning, titled “I Admit.” The song runs for nearly 20 minutes and addresses a number of topics from the alleged sex cult rumors, personal issues, and much, much more. The song was recently unveiled during an Instagram Live session and has since circulated online.

Republican Georgia state representative Jason Spencer found himself trending on Twitter for all of the wrong reasons late Sunday night. Spencer was featured on the latest episode of the new Sacha Baron Cohen show — “Who Is America?” — which airs on Showtime. On the season premiere, lawmakers were tricked into advocating and promoting a fake program to arm toddlers.
