The FCS wrapped up an exciting Week 6 of the 2018 college football season which means it’s time for the updated rankings. On Monday, October 8, the American Football Coaches Association unveiled the updated AFCA FCS Coaches’ Poll ahead of Week 7.
North Dakota State continues its stranglehold on No. 1 with all 26 first-place votes, while Kennesaw State, Eastern Washington, Wofford, and South Dakota State round out the top five.
This season, for the first time ever, the AFCA is in charge of the administration of the FCS. It had previously been run by the Southern Conference. The AFCA also administrates the Division II and Division III Top 25 polls.
