College Sports News

For the second straight year, a member of the Oklahoma Sooners football program is atop the college football world. On Saturday, December 8, Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray walked away from New York City with the Heisman Trophy. Murray follows in the footsteps of 2017 winner Baker Mayfield.

Kyler Murray’s Saturday night ended on a sour note. After the Oklahoma football star claimed the 2018 Heisman Trophy, controversial tweets from his past surfaced on social media. That led to the Sooners signal-caller being forced to issue an apology for his last comments.
