Five-Star OT Drew Richmond Signs with Tennessee

The Tennessee Volunteers and head coach Butch Davis already had an amazing 2015 recruiting class before today.

But as you know on National Singing Day, anything can happen.

Five-star offensive tackle Drew Richmond was once committed to Ole Miss but decided to open his recruitment up just recruitment after visiting Tennessee last weekend.

Earlier today, Richmond decided to stay home and sign with Tennessee. The Memphis native catapults the Volunteers’ class to No. 5 overall according to Rivals.com.

He becomes the fourth five-star to commit to Tennessee in this year’s class, joining Alvin Kamara, Kahlil McKenzie, Kyle Phillips. The Volunteers have commitments on both sides of the ball and should address any depth issues on the team moving forward.

Fans in Knoxville are hoping that Tennessee can finally get back to the glory days of the 90’s and coach Jones is proving he can compete with anyone on the recruiting trail.
