One of the biggest shockers of the day came when the third best defensive linemen in the country, Terry Beckner Jr., signed with the Missouri Tigers over Florida State and Ohio State.
Beckner is 6’4″, 293 pounds, and is rated a five-star recruit according to 24/7 sports and ESPN. He is staying close to home with his decision to go to Missouri as he is from East St. Louis, IL. He ranks as the No. 1 defensive tackle in Illinois and is sure to play a large role in the Missouri defense this fall.
Beckner made the decision to sign with the Tigers and was clearly choked up about his choice as he tearfully signed his letter of intent in front of his entire school.
The Missouri Tigers have produced many quality defensive lineman over the years and Beckner will have an opportunity to continue that tradition at Missouri.
