Stanford football just got themselves a run-stopper by the name Michael Williams.
Out of All Saints Episcopal High School in Fort Worth, Texas, Williams is looking to bolster an already staunch Stanford defense. Standing at 6-foot-1, 305 pounds, Williams is a four-star defensive lineman that should make an immediate impact for the Cardinal defense.

Williams received offers from TCU, Texas, Oklahoma, and even FBS Champion Ohio State but decided to go with Stanford. Williams joins a very capable Cardinal defense, finishing 3rd in overall defense last year and motivated to raise that rank.
Williams isn’t done helping that defense either. Williams is reportedly trying to convince 4-star LB Caleb Kelly to come join him at Stanford.

Kelly is the ranked as the 3rd best player in the California, according to 247sports.
He has been recruited by Oklahoma recently, and all signs pointed to a commitment, but we must now wait and see. If Kelly joins Williams in Stanford, it’s time to #FearTheTree
