The LSU Tigers are just days away from training camp and they have taken a big hit along the defensive line. Maquedius Bain announced via Twitter that he would be leaving the team just days after he, quarterback Anthony Jennings and defensive back Dwayne Thomas were reinstated to the team.
Thank you LSU for the wonderful 2 1/2 years I attend in school and on the field but I will no longer be a LSU TIGER.

According to College Football Talk, Bain has not yet decided on where he will attend school, but that decision is expected to come soon. Bain played ten games for the Tigers at defensive tackle in 2014 and recorded six tackles and one pass breakup as a redshirt freshman. He had just recently announced a position change to defensive end.
This is another big hit for for the Tigers on the defensive line after Trey Lealaimatafao was dismissed from the program earlier in the summer. He was cut after he was arrested for simple battery and robbery.
In a bit of good news for the Tigers, senior defensive tackle Mickey Johnson’s name was back on the team’s roster for training camp. Johnson sat out spring training camp after he was rumored to be leaving LSU.
We will see if the Tigers will be able to stay in the premiere league of great defensive lines this season. LSU hosts McNeese State on September 5 to open the season.
