Another week, another set of rankings. On Sunday afternoon, the latest AP Top 25 Poll was released with the defending national champion Ohio State Buckeyes once again in first-place.
Others receiving first-place votes were the Michigan State Spartans, who are ranked No. 2, third-ranked Ole Miss Rebels and, surprisingly, the Utah Utes, who come in at No. 10 after a big win over the Oregon Ducks.
Thanks to the shellacking from Utah, the Ducks have plummeted out of the rankings. It is the first time since September of 2009 that Oregon is unranked.
Making their season debuts in the AP rankings were the No. 22 Michigan Wolverines, No. 23 West Virginia, No. 24 Cal and No. 25 Florida.
