Dexter Manley is highly regarded as one of the best defensive linemen in the history of the game of football. However, that doesn’t mean he’s not terrible at telling “jokes”.
Especially racist ones.
In the video below via Deadspin, Manley makes a joke about black quarterbacks liking to run the ball because they are used to “running from the law.”
It’s just wrong in all sorts of ways.

Watching it over and over, you just can’t understand why someone would even think of making this statement on live TV. One has to wonder, though, what would happen if someone else, say the man sitting next to him, would’ve made the same joke.
