The SEC celebrated another victory today at Alabama’s celebratory parade for winning another national championship in football, and nobody appears more excited that conference commissioner Greg Sankey.
While addressing fans, including Charlie Potter of 247 Sports, Sankey said that “no one is wondering now” about whether the SEC is the best conference.
SEC Commish @GregSankey said he spent the offseason talking to people who wondered if the SEC was still the best. "No one is wondering now."

Sankey isn’t far off. Not only did Alabama enjoy its postseason, but so did LSU, Auburn, Mississippi State, Georgia, Arkansas, Tennessee and Ole Miss. That’s eight out of 14 SEC teams with bowl wins.
Simply put, if any true college football fan is going to look at the SEC and say it isn’t the best and most competitive conference in the game, then I’d highly suggest that they get the area between their ears checked!
