New Georgia football coach Kirby Smart addressed a thunderous crowd at Stegeman Coliseum yesterday when the Bulldogs took on Arkansas, according to The Red & Black.
“I want to ignite the Bulldog nation,” Smart said. “Fans, students, the crowd, all these passionate fans, we expect to see the same passionate energy in Sanford Stadium come the spring game.”

Georgia plans have plenty to be excited about with Smart at the Bulldogs’ helm, as he served under Nick Saban at Alabama as the Crimson Tide’s defensive coordinator for nearly a decade. He also played at Georgia, so he clearly knows the fan and the team’s culture.
By bringing his hard-hitting and smothering defense to Athens, Smart could very well change the SEC landscape and make it even more competitive down the stretch.
