Though Alabama won another national championship last night, beating Clemson 45-40, defensive coordinator Kirby Smart and defensive backs coach Mel Tucker had no time to celebrate.
That’s because Smart is the new head coach at Georgia and he brought Tucker with him to be his defensive coordinator, and pictures of their arrival in Athens this morning were posted to Twitter by Marc Weiszer of The Athens Banner-Herald.

Needless to say, since Smart knows Saban’s system like a book and Tucker is a strong defensive mind in his own right, there could soon be a serious rivalry brewing between both teams.
