Jim Harbaugh blasts Tennessee’s Butch Jones on Twitter

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is currently holding a week of spring practice down at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, and recently had some choice words for Tennessee coach Butch Jones.

You see, it all started when Arkansas coach Bret Bielema mentioned how he’d like to go to IMG just to watch the practice (only to be told by the NCAA that he couldn’t due to it being a recruiting “quiet period”), and Michigan State’s Mark Dantonio joked about joining him in Florida for lunch, as did Jones.

Sure enough, Harbaugh responded as follows, throwing some serious shade at Jones:

Harbaugh is referencing the serious federal Title IX lawsuit that is currently pending against the University of Tennessee, in which multiple women allege that the administration turned a blind eye to sexual assaults committed by football players. As this story has developed, it came out that Jones allegedly called a former player a “traitor” after learning that he encouraged one of the women to seek help from local authorities.

That said, though one may not like how Harbaugh handled Jones’ tweet, he wasn’t exactly wrong.
