Class of 2016 four-star wide receiver Demetris Robertson may be one step closer to finally committing to a program. According to a report from NBC Sports, Robertson has signed yet another financial aid agreement, this time with Georgia.
Robertson, who currently attends Georgia’s Savannah Christian Prep, had previously signed the same agreements with Cal and Georgia Tech, and now the Bulldogs are part of the mix.
Now, for those unaware, signing a financial agreement with a school is NOT the same as signing a Letter of Intent. Rather, it’s an agreement between a recruit and a university that states the school will keep a spot open for him and provide financial support.
And Robertson has taken his sweet time making a decision as to where he will play college ball next year, for reasons that are his own. His skills speak for themselves but given how Georgia has joined an exclusive club that only features Cal and Georgia Tech at this point, one can only assume that he’ll make a decision shortly.
