Georgia and LSU best jobs in the SEC?

Add Steve Spurrier to the list of people who weighed in on the best jobs in college ball. In response to a comment Nick Saban made to CBS Sports, Spurrier agreed that Georgia is one of the best jobs in the SEC, along with LSU.

Though Spurrier, the former South Carolina coach, and Saban are past rivals, they agree on this.

Spurrier added, via The Paul Finebaum Show, that Saban has made Alabama into the best job in the conference.

Both Georgia and LSU have an advantage in that they’re the only shows in town. They’re both elite programs in states with virtually no recruiting competition. Both Georgia and Louisiana have become extremely ripe recruiting grounds, too, with many talented players. So, if a high school player wants to stay in their home state, they’ll become a Bulldog and a Tiger, no doubt. That’s a huge asset for both programs.
