It is not unusual to see celebrities supporting local sports teams, whether professional or collegiate. But rapper Drake seems to have an affinity for having a new favorite team every time we turn around and this week, it is the defending national champion Alabama Crimson Tide.
Drake popped in for a visit in Tuscaloosa Wednesday night and he was seen hanging out with the team and rocking an Alabama jacket.
The team caught a picture of him and it has instantly blown up on Twitter, with people showering him with both love and hate.

Just a few weeks ago, Drake rocked a Houston jersey at a concert in the city just hours after they upset the Oklahoma Sooners in Week 1. He is also known for being a huge fan of the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team, so there was reason for fans getting upset with him.
Maybe Drake isn’t so much a fan of great athletics teams but rather the awesome coaches. I would say that John Calipari, Tom Herman and Nick Saban are all pretty good coaches.
