Nick Saban Sends Gift To Alabama Football Fan Slain By Police

Jordan Edwards, a 15-year-old Alabama football fan, was shot and killed by police in Texas earlier this year.
While nothing can make up for his family’s loss, Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban did his best to ease some of the pain. After Saban and company learned of Edwards’ story, they provided a touching gesture.
Edwards had dreamed of one day playing for Alabama and Saban sent a package of Crimson Tide gear to the family which included a custom Alabama jersey with Edwards’ name sewn onto the back.
A photo of the package Saban sent to the Edwards family was shared on social media.

What an awesome gesture from Saban and the Alabama program.
