One Alabama football fan was unsure whether to vote for Republican Roy Moore or Democrat Doug Jones in the state Senate race when he went to the voting booth on Tuesday.
So as any true Bammer would do, he stayed loyal and wrote in Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban. This just further goes to prove that SEC football just means more.
The fan said he has never voted for anyone other than a Republican or Democratic candidate in an election, so his crisis of conscious left him rolling with the Tide and giving his vote to his favorite head coach. We have a feeling that Mr. Greg Dobbins won’t be the only one who went with this strategy.
After all, in a political ad showing voters how to cast a write-in vote, Saban was used as an example.
You can watch the Alabama fan explaining his reasoning below:

We have a strong feeling that Nick Saban is going to finish third in the Senate race.
