The college football bowl season is in full swing and it’s just about time for the marquee matchups to take center stage.
Every year, the New Year’s Six bowl games feature the top matchups of the bowl season, with two games serving as the College Football Playoff national semifinals. This year, the semifinals will be played in the Sugar Bowl — No. 1 Clemson vs. No. 4 Alabama — and the Rose Bowl — No. 2 Oklahoma vs. No. 3 Georgia.
Kicking off the New Year’s Six games is the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic between No. 8 USC and No. 5 Ohio State on Friday Dec. 29.
The action continues on Saturday, Dec. 30 with the PlayStation Fiesta Bowl between No. 9 Penn State and No. 11 Washington.
The remaining games will be held on New Year’s Day.
