UGA football superfan Mike “Big Dawg” Woods passed away in early 2017, but his spirit remains with the No. 3 Bulldogs as they prepare for the 2018 Rose Bowl matchup against No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners in the College Football Playoff national semifinal.
Big Dawg’s son is carrying on the legacy and rallied a group of Georgia fans en route to Pasadena.
In a video shared online by Zach Klein of ABC-TV in Atlanta, Big Dawg’s soon can be seen calling the ‘Dawgs on a Southwest Airlines flight full of Georgia fans heading to the west coast for the big game.
