On Monday night, the UGA football team punched its ticket to the National Championship after running back Sony Michel found the corner and took it to the house in double overtime to give Georgia a win over Oklahoma in the Rose Bowl.
It was an instant classic with plenty of momentum shift throughout the game, but it all changed when Georgia blocked the Sooners’ go-ahead field goal attempt in the second overtime.
Shortly after, the Bulldogs star running back found the endzone for the walk-off win.
If you missed the game, all you need to hear in order to appreciate the excitement from the night is the local Georgia radio call of Michel’s heroics on the final play of the game.
After Michel turned the corner, the announcer went wild upon realizing the Bulldogs were headed to the national championship.
