UGA Football Fans Crash StubHub Looking For National Championship Tickets

UGA football fans were ecstatic on New Year’s Day after the No. 3 Bulldogs upset the No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners in a double-overtime Rose Bowl thriller.

Immediately after the game, Bulldogs fans began searching for tickets to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on StubHub.

With such a high demand and amped up fan base, the expected happened.

Not long after the conclusion of the game, StubHub crashed as UGA fans flocked to the site in hope of securing their seats for the big game.

StubHub's page for the college football title game has crashed.

Way to go Georgia fans.

You can’t fault the Bulldogs faithful for being excited.

Georgia will be taking on the Alabama Crimson Tide for the national title in an all SEC championship game that’s taking place where the SEC Championship Game is held. It’s a perfect end to what has been a wild season.

The National Championship takes place on Monday, Jan. 8 with kickoff set for 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
