Watch: Trae Young Reads Negative Parts Of NBA Draft Profile

Trae Young is one of the top prospects in the 2018 NBA Draft and will likely hear his name called early on. But while the former Oklahoma Sooners star is one of the top scorers available in this year’s draft class, there are plenty of concerns about his ability to transition to the next level.
Among the negatives that scouts point out when evaluating Young are shot selection, physical tools, defense, and vertical explosiveness.
But don’t worry, because Young does not seem concerned.
Ahead of the 2018 NBA Draft, Young stopped by the Dan Patrick Show to analyze his scouting report live on the show. Young awkwardly read through the negatives, before showing off his confidence and laughing off some of the negatives that scouts claim he needs to work on.
Check out the video below.

Young is a projected top 10 pick in this year’s draft, with the latest CBS Sports Mock Draft slating the 2018 Consensus First-Team All-American to the Orlando Magic with the No. 6 overall pick.
The 2018 NBA Draft takes place Thursday, June 21 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, with coverage beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.
