The 2018-19 college football season is still 54 days away, but that won’t stop the most loyal fans from looking back at the 2017-18 season and reliving some of its best moments. It was a wild season full of stunning upsets and thrilling finishes, and it also had its fair share of one-handed catches.
After all, a one-handed catch is one of the most exhilarating highlights in football and the top pass catchers from across the nation were out in top form throughout the past year.
Sammie Cobbs Jr. had multiple highlight-reel grabs, Tennessee wide receiver Marquez Callaway pulled in a stunning touchdown grab, and Georgia’s Terry Goodwin hauled in one of the most unbelievable one-handed catches of the year against Notre Dame.

The 2018-19 college football season officially kicks off Saturday, Aug. 25 with four games on the schedule — Duquesne vs. UMass, Prairie View vs. Rice, Hawaii vs. Colorado State, and Wyoming vs. New Mexico State.
