Week 8 of the college football season is in the books which means the Football Writers Association of America and National Football Foundation have revealed the latest FWAA-NFF Super 16 poll.
Alabama is in its expected spot atop the poll as the unanimous No. 1 team in the nation. It’s the second straight week that the Crimson Tide received every first-place vote.
Penn State, Georgia and TCU would finish in the top four if the season were to end today.
The ACC led all conferences with four teams in the poll. The Big Ten and Big 12 had three each and the Pac-12 and SEC two each. The American had one team and the Independents one.
