NCAA Football: 5 Must See Games of Week 3

The NCAA football season has reached Week 3 and there are some great games on the schedule. Over the past couple of weeks there have been multiple upsets and exciting games that have shown why college football season is such a great time of year.

Looking ahead at this weeks slate of games, there are many matchups that should be exciting for any fan of the game.

That being said, there are a few games in particular that should be valued over others to have your attention on the TV. Unless your team is playing at the same time, there are no better games to watch than these five games.

Which of this week’s games are the top five must see games of Week 3?

5. No. 10 UCLA Bruins vs. No. 19 BYU Cougars

BYU has been one of the biggest surprises this season and has won games against Nebraska and Boise State. They are running up against sensational freshman quarterback Josh Rosen, who is by far one of the leaders for the Heisman Trophy.

Both teams are looking to take a step forward in the top 25 and would benefit by knocking off another team in the current rankings.

4. No. 7 Georgia Bulldogs vs. South Carolina Gamecocks

Steve Spurrier is one of the best football coaches in the nation and he has his eyes on a huge upset win on the road against the Georgia Bulldogs. South Carolina definitely has the talent on their roster to be a major player to knock off Georgia, but they have to figure out how to slow down Nick Chubb and the Bulldogs’ ground game.

Expect this to be a very hard fought SEC football game and to come down to which team executes better in the fourth quarter.

3. No. 13 LSU Tigers vs. No. 18 Auburn Tigers

Jeremy Johnson and Auburn narrowly survived a scare against Jacksonville State last week and simply aren’t expected to compete with LSU on the road this week. While they aren’t expected to compete, they still have a great coaching staff and will be prepared for Les Miles’ team.

LSU should be able to pull out another victory and knock Auburn down in the rankings, but be prepared for a much closer game than many are making it out to be.

2. No. 8 Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. No. 14 Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

After seeing Malik Zaire go down with a broken ankle last week, the Notre Dame faithful are hoping that sophomore quarterback DeShone Kizer can come through with a big game against Georgia Tech.

The Yellow Jackets have a very balanced offensive attack with an extremely dynamic ground game.

Both teams are going to bring everything they have and it should be a very close and entertaining game in South Bend, Indiana.

1. No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide vs. No. 15 Ole Miss Rebels

Nick Saban and his Alabama football squad are looking to put even more pressure on the No. 1 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes with a huge win over Ole Miss this week.

Ole Miss has other plans and would like to take a huge jump in the rankings with a big win over the Crimson Tide.

This game could go either way, but don’t be surprised if we witness a big upset by Hugh Freeze and his Ole Miss Rebels.
