Nick Saban may not seem like the warmest character when he is in full coaching mode, but the Alabama football coach consistently shows us during the offseason that he knows how to let loose and have some fun. This time, Saban got involved in the “LemonFace Challenge,” which requires people to take a bit out of a lemon, and it was for a great cause.
The “Lemon Face Challenge” is for Aubreigh’s Army, A group supporting 11-year-old Aubreigh Nicholas, who is battling Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a form of rare childhood cancer.
The “Lemon Face Challenge” raises awareness for DIPG.
“Our team is so proud to be a part of Aubreigh’s Army as you continue your fight and also your efforts in helping raise awareness for DIPG,” Saban said, as transcribed by Yahoo! Sports.
“I want you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and we are behind you 100 percent. God bless you and Roll Tide.”

Aubreigh’s Army was appreciative of Coach Saban’s involvement, writing, “What an awesome man he is. In his busy life with family and football, he took a minute to help spread awareness about DIPG and Aubreigh’s Army!”
Kudos to Saban for getting involved in a great cause.
